Quality and environmental protection are recognised as essential foundations of management, with a focus on meeting legal requirements, continuously reviewing and improving actions, and minimising environmental impact.

Lines of action are established, such as applying prevention criteria and promoting sustainability. The importance of the participation of stakeholders, the application of the principle of prevention, and collaboration with other entities to address environmental problems is highlighted. The policy is reviewed annually to ensure its adequacy to the needs and objectives of the organisation.

The port of Roses is part of the public company Ports de la Generalitat, which has ISO 9001 quality certification and ISO 14001 and EMAS environmental certification.
